Avoid Paying Parking Fees at Walt Disney World

If you drive your car to a Walt Disney World theme park, you'll pay more to park for the day. Here are the new rates, which went into effect this week:

  • Automobile, taxi, limo or motorcycle: $17 per day
  • Camper, trailer or RV: $18 per day
  • Bus or tractor trailer: $21 per day

So how can you avoid these parking fees?
The best way is to stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. From your resort, you can take complimentary Disney transportation - which includes buses, monorails, and boats - to the theme parks, water parks, and the Downtown Disney area.
And if you fly into Orlando International Airport, there is complimentary transportation via Disney's Magical Express right to your Disney resort.

Oh sure, there are lots of hotels near Walt Disney World that offer lower rates, but be sure to look at the true cost. Will you need a rental car (gas, insurance)? And if they offer transportation to the Disney theme parks, how often does it run? Will you need to leave early to get back to your hotel?

You won't have to worry about any of these concerns when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The buses, monorails and ferry boats run every 20 minutes until two hours after the parks close and they are safe, clean and reliable ways to get around the Walt Disney World Resort.
