Disney's Castaway Cay, Bahamas

Kids (ages 3-12) have their paradise planned by Disney counselors at Scuttle's Cove with bountiful beach activities.

Teens can kick back, listen to music and participate in activities at Hideout, their own secluded area close to the beach.

Serenity Bay is a secluded beach exclusively for adults.

    • English is the universal language spoken on Disney's Castaway Cay.
    • U.S. currency is accepted at the post office and at Bahamian-operated stores. Unique to the island, use your stateroom key at Disney-run stores. Island dining is included as part of your cruise package.
    • While all areas of the island can be reached by walking, an island tram offers four stops to help you more quickly and easily get where you want to go. Bike rentals can also be purchased for those who wish to explore the island's nature trails.
    • Formerly known as Gorda Cay, the island is located amid the Abaco Islands in the northern Bahamas. Of the island's 1,000 acres, only 55 have been developed for Guest use, leaving the remaining land unspoiled and untamed.

What's included in your cruise fare?
  Your stateroom accomodations, meals, room-service, character experiences, gym facilities and entertainment as provided on the ship.  The Youth Clubs for children ages 3 to 17 are also included, but not babysitting services.   There is a soda station on all the Disney ships that is complimentary. The soda station also includes water, coffee, tea and juice.  Alcholic drinks are not included in the price of cruise.


What additonal options can I add to my cruise package before I sail?  Air travel, ground transfers, travel insurance and prepaid gratuities.  These optional add-ons will vary in price. 


What is not included in your cruise fare?  Alcoholic beverages, speciality drinks, spa treatments, baby-sitting services, arcade games, internet usage, ship to shore phone calls and shore excursions.  Adult dining options are also not included.  There is a per person fee to dine in the adult only venues.  Also not included: expenses incurred while in ports of call,  with the exception of food and soft drinks on Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.
